Canadian artist Ché Aimee Dorval blends genres effortlessly, mixing trip-hop, folktronica, and dream-pop with an alt-rock edge. After cutting her teeth in Toronto and Vancouver's indie scenes, she toured globally as a solo artist and with Devin Townsend in their acclaimed project, Casualties of Cool. In 2023, she recorded a haunting duet with Gord Downie (The Tragically Hip) and featured on Devin Townsend’s Lightwork. That same year, she released her third solo album, The Crowned, co-produced by Bob Rock, which Clash Magazine praised as "potent and original," blending pop, soul, and indie elements. Highlights included the standout track “Falling Under,” described by Knotfest as a "timeless earworm," alongside a 21-date UK/Europe tour featuring a sold-out headline show in London and festival appearances at Treefort Fest, NXNE, and Rifflandia. New music, inspired by her love of synthwave and dark wave alt-pop, will be released in 2025!
